Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively Hang Out in Italy in Portofino - May 22, 2011

Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively Hang Out in ItalyThe Cannes Film Festival is over, but Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively continued to hang out together in Europe.

The pair, who were spotted hugging on a yacht on the French Riviera during the festival last week, were seen again looking friendly in Portofino, Italy, on Sunday.
Lively, 23, and the newly single DiCaprio, 36 – both wearing hats and sunglasses – went sightseeing and "seemed happy in each other's company," according to an observer. They were "laughing and walking" together.

No word on whether the outing was just for fun or had a business element to it. Last November, the two stepped out for dinner at The Lion in New York City, where they were reportedly talking about a movie project.
DiCaprio and model Bar Refaeli confirmed their break-up earlier this month, while Lively split from her boyfriend, Penn Badgley, last year.

Reps for both DiCaprio and Lively had no comment.

How Cozy Did Blake Lively and Ryan Gosling Get?

Ryan Gosling, Blake LivelyEarlier this week we told you how Blake Lively and Ryan Gosling were deliciously spotted after hours at Disneyland together, and we have a love update for ya.

The comments were totally torn, half of you thinking they are the perfect blonde duo, the other fuming that B.L. might not still be with her Gossip Girl costar, Penn Badgley.

Well, here’s the scoop:

Looks like this couple is too pretty to be true.

While Lively’s rep wouldn’t comment, she did tell our bitchy bro’s at Gossip Cop that Penn and Blake are still very much together, noting there were 15 people at Disneyland with them.

Hmm, not so much in the late-night photos—but we’ll bite.

We’re a fan of Penn and Blake together too. Plus it keeps our beloved Ry-Ry on the market!

Still, we could so see these two hooking up at some point in the future. Especially if they make the rounds during awards season for Gosling and Lively’s respected flicks Blue Valentine and The Town.

So, you all happy or sad Blosling isn’t happening (for now)?

Holy Double Vision! Find Out Why Taylor Momsen Is Copying Blake Lively on Gossip Girl

Blake Lively, Taylor Momsen
Cue the horror music: Little J is back on Gossip Girl and totally going all Single White Female on Serena!

How else can you explain the photos that were just snapped on set of Taylor Momsen and Blake Lively wearing the exact same ballgown?

Actually, we have the inside scoop from sources. But first a warning: Spoiler Alert!

TWITTER: Follow @KristinDSantos for TV 24/7.

According to my source, Jenny's same-dress (and in one photo, she's wearing a mask!) masquerade is all part of Juliet's (Katie Cassidy) master plan to take down Serena. Yeah, in case you haven't figured it out yet, Juliet is out for some cold hard revenge, and I'm told she'll end up recruiting not-so-little-anymore Jenny Humphrey—and another major character—in her grand scheme.

Any guesses on who that other character is? I'm all ears...

Oh, and one final thought. Remember the last time Jenny wore a mask and people thought she was Serena? The masquerade ball in season one? Nate kissed her. Good times.

The next episode of Gossip Girl airs this Monday on the CW.

Blake & Taylor Are Spotted Wearing The Same Dress On The Gossip Girl Set!

BauerGriffin.com (2)

Get ready for some serious drama — it looks like there’s going to be a masquerade mixup between the two blondes!

Am I the only one who’s going through deja vu? Not only is there going to be another masquerade ball on Gossip Girl — the first time we saw a masked party was in season one, where Nate (Chace Crawford) confused Jenny (Taylor Momsen) for Serena (Blake Lively) and confessed his feelings for her — but the two blondes were spotted on set in the same exact blue Carolina Herrera gown in NYC, carrying the same exact mask!

While the ethereal gown was gorgeous, coincidences rarely happen on Gossip Girl so this sight can only mean we’re in store for some serious drama! Last season, Jenny realized she had feelings for Nate and manipulatively tried to steal him away from Serena — it looks like although little J went away, she’s back to her old antics showing up to a ball in the same exact get-up!

IMDB Star of the Day: Blake Lively

'My eyes are up here boys ... oh, go ahead'
Blake Lively's boobs have been making a play for World Wonder status ever since "Gossip Girl" put Serena in her first key hole neckline for the season one finale. Now every costume -- and real world ensemble -- seems designed to flaunt these assets.

So when IMDB.com took a cue from its subject and prominently displayed her cleavage on their homepage this morning, I simply had to share it with you. See if you can steal yourself away from staring long enough to listen to the movies Blake lists as her faves.

Note: "Teen Witch" goes rudely unmentioned

Baldwin: 'Learn from Lively, not Lohan'

Alec Baldwin at the 'Welcome To Gulu' exhibition opening at the United Nations, New York City
Alec Baldwin has praised Gossip Girl star Blake Lively for acting as a positive role model for young girls and slammed Lindsay Lohan for wasting this opportunity.

Speaking at a gala commemorating 30 years of PETA, the 30 Rock actor confessed that he would like to see Lively pose for one of the charity's famous naked campaigns, but for strictly legitimate reasons.

"These younger girls, whether they get naked or not, are the biggest stars, who are the role models," he told E! News. "I'm a big fan of [Blake Lively]. I think she's a really really gorgeous woman, very stylish. These are the ones who have all the influence."

Subtly referring to the troubled Mean Girls star, Baldwin added: "There are certain people who, I won't name, but they are in and out of rehab, they're getting arrested for drug use and they're twittering about their drug problem - it's a shame.

"I think those people had a real opportunity to fill a certain role in society and they didn't necessarily step up, but those that are I think it's a great thing if they get involved with anti-fur or anti-animal testing."

Baldwin also used the event to denounce the mixed messages brought up by the meat dress that Lady GaGa recently wore to the MTV Video Music Awards.

"I didn't understand it," he admitted. "What was the purpose? Was she pro-meat or against meat? I didn't understand it."

Costar: Blake Lively Is a Better Kisser Than James Franco

Costar: Blake Lively Is a Better Kisser Than James Franco Blake Lively, James Franco
Aaron Tveit is honest enough to kiss and tell.

The actor, who has played Blake Lively's love interest on television and now plays James Franco's in the movies, didn't mind comparing the two when it comes to their lip-locking styles.

How does Franco fare? "He was fine," Tveit told PEOPLE nonchalantly on Wednesday at the New York premiere of Howl, which costars Franco.

And how about Lively, whom Tveit romanced as Trip van de Bilt on Gossip Girl? "She was awesome," he replied enthusiastically. Better than Franco? "Yeah, sorry James," Tveit said with a smile. More of an electric charge with Lively? "Yes," Tveit admitted. "Definitely!"

Perhaps the scene with Franco was just unfamiliar territory – since it was the first time Tveit had kissed a man. How did Tveit prepare to shoot the scene? "I guess some breath mints," he says. "Make sure everyone's on the same page."

"Luckily it was the last day I worked on the movie, so it was easier," he says. "I'm wearing underwear, and he's wearing clothes."

For his part, Franco – who plays beat poet Allen Ginsberg in Howl and also kissed Sean Penn's character in Milk – told PEOPLE that doing same-sex love scenes isn't a big deal for him.

"I don't really think about it," he said. "I just do it."

Alec Baldwin Wants Blake Lively Naked ... for PETA

Vegetarian actor Alec Baldwin has had some bumps along the way in his career (um, Mercury Rising?) and in his personal life (you know what I'm talking about) but the one thing that has been bump free for him is his commitment to animal rights. And for that, we like him. (And also for 30 Rock).
Not one to shy away from taking a stand, remember that Alec Baldwin was one of the first public figure to come forth and talk about how disgusted he was over the Conklin dairy farm abuse case. And now, he has a new position to discuss. He’s urging young Hollywood of the female persuasion to get buck naked in the name of animal rights.

By young Hollywood, he's really talking to Blake Lively, who he has deemed gorgeous clothed, but even more gorgeous, naked with a big PETA poster behind her.

Blake Lively on 'awkward' sex scene

Blake Lively insists her sex scene in The Town isn't hot.

The 23-year-old Gossip Girl actress plays a young mum in Ben Affleck's heist flick.

"Everybody is like, 'There's a steamy scene...' and I'm like, 'Really? You have a very dark life that I don't want to ask you about!'" Blake joked.

The actress said her scenes with Ben's character are far from sexy.

"It's awkward, it's unromantic and it's also very tragic in a lot of ways because these are two people that hate each other and they're stuck in this rut," Blake explained.

"It was my first day of shooting and if that's not an ice breaker I don't know what is?!" she laughed.

Blake said she was pleased that the scene wasn't exploitative and showed the darkness in the couple's characters.

"It wasn't there to be a gratuitous sex scene for the trailer or to get guys to watch this movie, it's actually a turn off for the audience, everybody around and for us," she said.

:: The Town opens in cinemas on September 24.

Blake Lively: 'Gossip Girl' is now the talk of 'The Town'

Blake Lively strides into the room, all tan blond California girl — with exquisite fashion sense.

Note her sequined periwinkle blue boots with black toes, and the native of Burbank, Calif., will respond eagerly.

"Aren't they amazing?" she says. "These are beautiful Chanel couture boots that I wish were mine."

But she is more than that fashionista, and more than the glossy character she plays on CW's teen drama Gossip Girl.

What really lights her up and shifts her into overdrive is the discussion of the druggy mess she plays in The Town, a blue-collar drama about bank robbers, addicts and double-crossers, directed by and starring Ben Affleck.

Lively is interested in lives that are worlds apart from hers. "I love this character because of the challenge," she says. "She was written to be a 37-year-old, OxyContin-addicted, drug-muling mother from Boston. It was a character that they didn't want to read me for because I was 21 and had been acting for a few years but hadn't proven myself much."

She had made The Private Lives of Pippa Lee last year, playing the younger, wilder version of a character played by Robin Wright. But that was not enough.

Affleck hadn't heard of her. "He didn't know who I was," she says. "Finally they said 'OK, fine, he'll take a meeting. But you have to go to Boston.' "

Lively, now 23, still seems in awe. "I read, and when I finished, he said, 'What part of Boston are you from?' " she says.

Not bad for a girl whose first movie was 2005's The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She had to further prove herself.

And then, "when I read the second time, it was such a long, grueling process. The scenes were so emotional it was terrifying. He was seeing if we could work together, seeing if he could direct me."

A similar role went to more experienced actress Amy Ryan in Affleck's last directorial effort, Gone Baby Gone.

"I'm sure there are people who were much more qualified and talented, who could have or should have done this role," Lively acknowledges. "But I thought I had to play this role because it ignited such passion within me."

She was aware of the risk. "This is so different from Gossip Girl," she says. "What's so fun in life are the challenges. You do have to fall on your face sometimes, too. That's how you learn."

The risk paid off. "It was a joy," she says, then stops, catching herself, "Not a joy to do; it was a joy to be a part of. To shoot it was grueling, traumatic, mentally, physically, emotionally draining."

She would hop on a plane after shooting wrapped on the New York set of Gossip Girl and spend weekends in Boston's Charlestown neighborhood bars, hanging out with women whose lives bore no resemblance to hers.

"It would help me absorb more of the attitude and the accent," she explains. "I'd get on a plane, go to my hotel, put on all my makeup as Krista and oil my hair so I felt really grimy."

The women there, she says, "will put on their mask and they'll party all night, they'll come home, they'll pass out and get up the next day, feed the kids, and don't have time, they just need to get through the day, so they'll put on more powder, more eyeliner, and it's their mask."

This unfamiliar world made a big impression on Lively. "It would have been nice not to go straight from Gossip Girl to being Bostonian, (but) Krista was a heavy character, so to not have to carry her around more than I needed to was nice. Also, at the end of the day, it was good to take a shower and wash her off."

Penn Badgley & Blake Lively’s “Unbelievable Trust”

A normal guy would most likely be very freaked out if his gorgeous blond starlet of a girlfriend was making out with Ben Affleck for a movie — but then again, Gossip Girl’s Penn Badgley isn’t your average guy.
He opened up to Just Jared at last night’s exclusive opening of the Renaissance New York Hotel 57 in NYC, revealing how his relationship with the lovely Blake Lively works.
“I’ll say this, because we don’t talk about this much, but in another relationship, I might be,” Penn says of not getting jealous while Blake shoots romantic scenes with Ben for The Town. “But with her, she and I have such an unbelievable trust. So in this situation, no, I’m not remotely. It’s not that I’m an inconceivably jealous person, but in this particular relationship, no.”
In fact, Penn is so secure with Blake, that he doesn’t get clingy — even when they’re in the same city.
“I know what the job entails, so I don’t want to be there distracting her,” he says of being in Boston and not visiting Blake’s set. I like to spend my own time by myself so I give her that respect. In fact, a lot of the time, she wants me to come and I say, “No, I think you should take it.”
